Congress has raised the issue of extradition of LTTE leader Velupillai Prabhakaran in the state Assembly. Prabhakaran is the main accused in the Rajiv Gandhi assassination case.

Meanwhile
the LTTE carried out an attack three days ago on the Palalai military complex in the northern Jaffna peninsula, saying two light aircraft dropped bombs on the base.
